My best friend’s dad blew off their kitties leg when we were (I think) 12 by this. Of course it was on accident, but make sure you check before starting your engine!

The dog was named Parrot. This was taken moments before Parrot was murdered by the cop. The cop drove his knee into the middle of Parrot’s back while stretching Parrot’s forelegs behind him, as one would do with an armed criminal. Without waiting to determine whether this technique would calm Parrot, the cop grabbed Parrot, lifted him off the ground, and brought him to the top of the concrete stai…rcase. He threw Parrot over the banister, down twelve steps, and onto the concrete floor. Then, the cop stood at the top of the stairs, drew his weapon, and executed Parrot. Aaron, the animal’s owner, cannot recall the number of shots fired. Witnesses state that Parrot was not harming anybody and was simply frightened by the cop.
All cops are not pigs. Pigs are wonderful animals. Stop making that comparison.
Its the individual not the whole law enforcement.
ThThis is so fucked up and yes ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS
WHAT THE FUCK. Sitting here fucking crying. How the fuck..
again FUCK the police

The Most Beautiful Suicide
On May Day, just after leaving her fiancé, 23-year-old Evelyn McHale wrote a note. ‘He is much better off without me … I wouldn’t make a good wife for anybody,’ … Then she crossed it out. She went to the observation platform of the Empire State Building. Through the mist she gazed at the street, 86 floors below. Then she jumped. In her desperate determination she leaped clear of the setbacks and hit a United Nations limousine parked at the curb. Across the street photography student Robert Wiles heard an explosive crash. Just four minutes after Evelyn McHale’s death Wiles got this picture of death’s violence and its composure. The serenity of McHale’s body amidst the crumpled wreckage it caused is astounding. Years later, Andy Warhol appropriated Wiles’ photography for a print called Suicide (Fallen Body).

Anonymous asked: Hey, it's the girl from the Native American zombie picture. I just wanna say thanks for defending me. That other girl went and ripped me a new one. I did the picture for a friend who was making a zombie calendar, and November was this picture. We really were just having fun. I myself am 25% Cherokee and wasn't offended. I feel like you have to walk on eggshells sometimes with this "cultural appropriation" shit, and it's wholly unnecessary. Anyways, thanks. -A
No problem, I couldn’t agree more, I believe that people are far too fast to label something as “offensive”. Equality does not mean being oversensitive to harmless acts.
Anonymous asked: A girl dressing up as a "sexy cop" is not really comparable to her dressing up as a Native American. A cop is an occupation that someone chooses. People don't choose to be Native American. When you dress as one you're marginalizing the complexity and diversity of a group of people who were greatly oppressed throughout history. You're turning a culture of nearly 500 different indigenous tribes into one tacky costume with cheap fabric, a bare mid-drift, and colored feathers. Educate yourself.
Dear self righteous anonymous,
Let me start by saying that no where in my post did I say the costume was in any way a historically accurate representation of a Native American, I simply stated that she was dressed as a very general interpretation of a Native American. May I point out that if your aurgument is that using incorrect stereotypes is offensive than why did no one seem to have a problem with the pilgrim in the photo, who was dressed as a stereotypical pilgrim and wearing far from the accurate attire of the time? I do believe in equality and respect of every culture and race but I consider it a incredible overreaction to call a innocent costume “offensive”.
ashleydemon: Check out me as a zombie Native American princess!
This is so fucking offensive. Sometimes I really just am at a loss of words in regards to how insensitive and ignorant people in my generation are. I really, really hate this bullshit. Take your craft store feathers, bad makeup, and gtfo.
I hate when people over react to shit like this. When girls dress up as sexy cops for halloween no one is outraged at there ignorance towards the proper attire of law enforcement. She wanted to dress up as what is commonly thought of as a Native American, she is not saying that this is what she truly believes is historically accurate.I am latino and I see that so matter what race people are they go out of there way to find mundane things not meant to offend as offensive and “degrading”.
